All of these listed sizes
are available in both slide-on and field installable methods.
The field installable
TufLine Fairing can be installed on terminated cables. The slide-on versions must be
installed on an unterminated cable and slid on from one end.
TufLine can be wrapped in
multiple layers on a winch drum.
TufLine comes in standard
black colour, with optional bright orange at slightly higher cost.
Another option is with
notches every metre along the length of the fairing. These help relieve the accumulative
stretching when wrapped under tension on a winch drum.
Each fairing module
includes; one King Fairing (and hardware), one Anti-Stacking Ring (and one heat shrink
assembly (if required))
A tool and installation
kit along with complete installation instructions is included with every order.
TufLine has been in
service, primarily on marine seismic exploration vessels, since 1997.
It can be used on rope,
bare tow cables or wires, sheathed or braided cables.
